R&D is in charge of all prototype development and construction work. Structural parts are analysed and developed by the Department’s expert personnel by means of ANSYS software before proceeding to motor and complete vehicle testing. Exhaust emission tests are run on static and dynamic rigs using TUV approved equipment. Noise levels are measured in an ISO 3745-certified seminachoic chamber. Further prototype testing by means of an advanced telemetric system permits recording of on-the-road performance parameters, and the same stress may be reproduced with CAD-DRUM equipment.
