Turning an original idea into an innovative piece of techno-reality is Engines Engineering’s job and mission. The firm’s styling centre is staffed by designers of different nationality and with different cultural backgrounds and outlooks who define forms and colours, taking care to always combine creativity with rigorous engineering principles, art with technological innovation. Design development is carried forward and built up on by a dedicated team of experts working with computer-aided systems (C.A.S.). After having brought an idea to virtual reality thanks to the use of these systems the next and initial “hardware” step is the construction and development of a mock-up. Complete with accessories and fully developed down to the smallest details, the mock-up is a perfect replica of the final object. At this point design undergoes final testing and evaluation. Once this stage has been successfully completed the master moulds from which the prototypes are derived are made in a special workshop.
